- Subject: [vsnet-alert 580] possible EUV ALEXIS transient
- Sender: owner-vsnet-alert@kusastro.kyoto-u.ac.jp
ALEXIS has detected a potential transient in Telescope 2B (186 Angstroms,
66eV) at:
RA= (22 23 38.4)
DEC=(61 9.96)
(Epoch 2000)
Error circle radius = 0.4 degrees (~90% confidence)
There was no evidence of the object in the co-aligned telescope 2A (93
eV). The source turn on appeared to start about 0 UT 8 Nov and was
constant or slowly decaying at 18 UT 8 Nov which is the end of the most
recent data dump from the satellite.
Follow up observations are encouraged
