- Subject: [vsnet-alert 546] possible ALEXIS transient
ALEXIS has detected a potential transient in Telescope 2A (130 Angstroms,
93eV) at:
RA= (23 36 31.58)
DEC=(-32 49 53.3)
(Epoch 2000)
Error circle radius = 0.3 degrees (~90% confidence)
There was no evidence of the object in the co-aligned telescope 2B (66
eV). The source turn on appeared to start about 9 UT 21 Sept and was
slowly decaying.
Follow up observations are encouraged
