The ALEXIS satellite has observed a potential transient in the 93 ev
telescope of telescope pair 2. The light curve from this system appears to
be quite flare like with the first flare occuring at 12 UT 14 Sept, 1996.
It was unclear whether or not the source was still active at the end of the
last data set; the next data will be available in 7-8 hours.
The source is located at:
RA 04 01 19.2 DEC +30 40 48 +/- 0.3 degree
A quick search of Simbad only reveals 11 sources within the 0.3 degree error
radius.
Follow up observations would be greatly appreciated.
