[vsnet-alert 536] AY Lyr

Observations made on 8 Sept. 1996 UT indicate that AY Lyr is indeed in outburst.
Time-series CCD measurements made at the University of Wyoming's Red Buttes
observatory, yield a magnitude for AY Lyr near 12th. This is at the
brightest limit for this star, possibly indicating a superoutburst.
Further time-series observations are requested via the international
