Hi,
the following visual observations were made with the apogee at
the location of the probable nova:
UT Magn
Aug 27.746 10.4 awful seeing
Aug 28.702 10.8 fading fast
No object of similar brightness is visible at that position on the
plates of the DSS of STScI
