Hi,
last night the nova SGR 96 was seen (amidst cloudy skies) with
the apogee 40x120.
UT Magn
Aug 5.86 11.0 (mean of several estimates)
The magnitude was estimated vs sequences traceable to nearby
GSPC stars, South of the region. The visual calibration of the field
near N SGR resulted in the following preliminary sequences:
star 1' N : 10.9
star 6.5' N : 9.5
star 5.5 NNW : 10.2
Please scrutinize!
Best regards,
Berto Monard
