Hi observers,
I have received sufficient evidence from all corners that the
observed object near FN Sgr was indeed the minor planet Europa.
Not only the position at the given time was identical, so was the
magnitude estimate.
I hereby thank all involved: B Marsden, D Overbeek, T Kato, M
Yamamoto, F Farrell, B Granslo and others who might have tried
to look into it but couldn't due to bad weather, no charts, no minor
planet tables, too far North etc..
