Kesao Takamizawa (Nagano, Japan) reports his discovery of a new
large-amplitude variable star located at 22h 31m 14s.66 +06o 22' 49".0
(J2000.0). His photographic magnitude estimates:

The object coincides with a 13.0-mag GSC star. The light variation
suggests a Mira-type variable star with a period of ~7 months,
although there is no corresponding object in the IRAS PSC (out of the
scan area?).
Follow-up observations are encouraged during the present bright
phase.
