SS CYGNI
The dwarf nova type (SS Cyg subclass prototype) cataclysmic variable is in
outburst as indicated by the following observations:

This star is scheduled to be observed with several satellites during its
next long outburst (see AAVSO Alert Notices 221 and 222). Analyzing the
AAVSO data going back to 1987, we have predicted the current outburst to be
a narrow one. Please monitor SS Cyg closely and send in your observations
daily (until the end of the outburst) so that we can confirm the duration
of the current outburst.

FG SAGITTAE
FG Sge, the central star of a planetary nebula, appears to be recovering
slowly from its earlier dramatic fading (see News Flash No. 18, AAVSO Alert
Notice 221). The following observations show this brightening trend over
the past month:
