[vsnet-alert 427] No outburst of EF Peg?

     Prompted by Patrick Schmeer's message, I had a look at the field of
EF Peg using the Lowell 53cm telescope (1996 June 5.4 UT).  I could see
nothing on the west side of the mag. 12 companion to EF Peg using 550x in the
photometer post-viewer.  I could readily see stars as faint as star 6 (V=13.9)
on the chart in Howell et al. 1993 (PASP 105, 579).
