In response to Berto Monard's discovery of an outburst of VZ Pyx, we have prepared a WWW page of VZ Pyx containing finding charts from kappa Pyx to its vicinity, and a close-up chart containing the VSNET sequence derived from T Pyx field. The URL is: http://vsnet.kusastro.kyoto-u.ac.jp/vsnet/DNe/vzpyx.html (or http://ftp.kusastro.kyoto-u.ac.jp/pub/vsnet/DNe/VZ_Pyx for GIF files) VZ Pyx is located at 08h 59m 19s.95 -24o 28' 55".7 (J2000.0) = Pyx1 in the atlas of Downes & Shara (1993). This cataclysmic variable has an orbital period of 0.075 day (thus a good candidate for an SU UMa star), showing properties of an intermediate polar (Pspin = 3108s). Regards, Taichi Kato
