AL Com
As already suggested, the superhump-like semi-periodic modulation
observed independetly by J. Patterson (IAUC 6157), J. A. DeYoung (IAUC 6157)
and T. Kato (vsnet-alert message) has decayed considerably on Apr. 8.
The V-band light curve obtained at Ouda Station (0.60-m refl. + CCD)
between Apr. 8.434 UT and 8.758 shows only a weak, rather irregular,
modulation with an amplitude of 0.04 mag. Sharp minima observed on Apr. 7
have totally disappeared. A period analysis still gives a strong power at
a period of 0.0569 day. The best period determined from all data on Apr. 7
and 8 is 0.0567 +/- 0.0001 day.
