Dear colleagues,
We obtained 30 CCD images of NGC2962 using the 50-cm
reflector at Osaka Kyoiku University from 11.49 to
11.68 (UT). Johnson V and Cousins R, I interference
filters were used. Preliminary magnitudes of SN1995D
were obtained relative to a star (GSC mag. = 13.9)
locating at 3' 52.9" west and 1' 1.9" north of the SN.
Magnitudes were obtained using the APPHOT routine in
IRAF.
Results are as follows.
mid-UT Band SN-Comp Std. dev. No. Frammes
--------------------------------------------------------------
950211.49 V 0.052 0.028 5
950211.51 R 0.420 0.010 3
950211.53 V 0.011 0.020 5
950211.65 I 0.810 0.020 7
950211.67 R 0.394 0.005 4
950211.68 V -0.039 0.017 6
-------------------------------------------------------------
It is interesting to note that the SN brightened by about
0.1 mag in the V-band within 5 hours.
Best regards,
