EP Car observation from Tom Richards
Dear Colleagues,
Tom Richards has just sent EP Car time-series (3.8 hr) photometry last
night. The data look rather flat, in contrast to the 2000 observation.
There was neither a striking fading trend, as may be expected for a
normal outburst of an SU UMa star. Although the data may slightly favor
an SS Cyg-type classification, we absolutely need a further coverage since
some of SU UMa-type superoutbursts are known to show almost disappearance
of superhumps during a certain stage of a superoutburst. We have also
received a note on a successful observation by Peter Nelson last night.
Please keep observing until the situation becomes clear!
