PU Per observation from Donn Starkey (2) Dear Colleagues, Donn Starkey has just sent us a prelimiary light curve. Although there is no distinct superhumps, small-amplitude variations are likely present. These variations may be QPOs or may be related to the growing stage of superhumps. There was no general tendency of fading during the received run. Since there is usually a delay of 2-7 d before full superhumps appear in large-amplitude SU UMa-type dwarf novae, the present finding is not surprising if the outburst indeed turns out to be a superoutburst. Further detailed observations are most strongly wanted. Regards, Taichi Kato VSNET Collaboration team
