Observers:
GRL = Bjorn H. Granslo (Movatn, Oslo, Norway). Instruments: 7.0-cm
  refractor (L70); 10x50 binoculars (B10x50), naked eye (NE).
  AAVSO sequences unless otherwise noted. Cloud cover 90-100 % on
  Jan 16 UT, nearly clear on Jan 17. Comet 55P/Tempel-Tuttle was
  visible in the field of SS Cephei. Its total magnitude was m1=8.2
  (diameter 10').
