G'day all,
My first chances to observe this month. Partly cloudy on Dec 23.
Tonight I was distracted by Comets Hartley-2, Hale-Bopp - and that
special man with the huge sack of gifts (who promised me lots of clear
nights in 1998 :-)
On a serious note....
Eta Car seems "whiter" than usual to my eye. Is this colour change
real? And is it related to the current X-ray and spectroscopic
phenomena in progress?
