I measured 12.7CR for V4742 Sgr unfiltered on 30/3/03 vs R converted
Tycho II (or UCAC1) data.

If both our values were correct, V4742 Sgr would be quite red(dened)
now.

I have been using the chart http://members.aol.com/dwest61506/page25.html. My recent comp stars have been GSC 6846:1080 V=10.45 and GSC 5846:174 (not on chart) V=10.39.  I need to measure the Rc value for V4742 Sgr soon.
