[vsnet-obs 43987] SNe information from IAUC 8090



# SN 2003br was already reported on CBET 9.

# SN 2003br (14:34:34.98, -27:59:48.8 (J2000.0), offset = 2"W, 5"N) is
# hosted by MCG -05-34-18, a tilted spiral (SAB(rs)cd:) galaxy.  The
# expected maximum for typical SN Ia is mag about 15.5.

# SN 2003bs (10:29:44.12, +25:37:11.6 (J2000.0), within 1" from the
# nucleus) is hosted by a faint (mag about 20 on USNO-B1.0) anonymous
# galaxy.  The KPNO spectrum taken on Mar 8.32 revealed that it is
# type Ia SN about 1 week after maximum.  The redshift is
# approximately z = 0.05.
