The # SN is superimposed on the bright bulge region. The expected maximum # for typical unreddened SN Ia is mag about 16.1, which seems not the # case. SN2002jn 20020928.0 <190C Bol SN2002jn 20021018.0 <185C Bol SN2002jn 20021209.767 180C Bol # UGC 11523, a host galaxy of SN 2002jn (20:11:59.91, +5:31:16.0 # (J2000.0), offset = 10"W, 12"N), is a face-on open spiral (Scd:) # galaxy with a low b (= -15deg). The SN is superimposed on the outer # arm. There is a foreground star (mag 16) about 10" NW of the SN # (25" NW of the nucleus of the host galaxy). The SN is located # between this star and the nucleus. The expected maximum for typical # unreddend (within the host galaxy) SN Ia is mag about 16.4.
