It is a probable member of a group LGG 237, which also # contains NGC 3626 or NGC 3607. It is at the nearly same distance as # the Virgo cluster, so if it is typical unreddened SN Ia, it can # reach mag 12. But the discovery magnitudes suggest that it is an # old one or a collapse-driven event.
