# NGC 3655, a host galaxy of SN 2002ji (11:22:53.15, +16:35:10.0
# (J2000.0), offset = 22"W, 14"S), is a nearby spiral (SA(s)c:)
# galaxy. It is a probable member of a group LGG 237, which also
# contains NGC 3626 or NGC 3607. It is at the nearly same distance as
# the Virgo cluster, so if it is typical unreddened SN Ia, it can
# reach mag 12. But the discovery magnitudes suggest that it is an
# old one or a collapse-driven event.
