CCD observation of 2 July 2002
observer: Berto Monard MLF, Pretoria, South Africa
Bronberg observatory / CBA Pretoria
location: -25 º 54' 48", 28º 26' 44"E, altitude 1590m
instrumentation: LX200 12" f/4.2 with ST-7E unfiltered
conditions: clear / half moon / low on horizon
using R magnitudes traceable to UCAC1 and non-red comparison star
selection via USNO-A2.0.
SN2002cy 020702.155 185CR MLF
Note: this is not the first observation of NGC 1762 after its solar
conjunction, but the first one showing SN2002cy.
