# NGC 6616 = the host galaxy of SN 2002dk is a spiral (Sab) galaxy
# somewhat near to the Galactic plane (b = 17o). The position is:
# R.A. = 18h17m43s.52, Decl. = +22o14'53".4 (2000.0), which is about
# 34" east and 35" north of the nucleus of NGC 6616. The expected
# maximum for typical SN Ia is mag about 16.5.
