V4641 Sgr observations (Alexandre Amorim) Well, isn't easy observe V4641 Sgr using a 143mm reflector and strong moonlight interference, but my MALE is ~ 11.8-magnitude (GSC Catalogue). Some notes: 1) I'm using this comparison stars: (a) E_GSC 0684804244 m:10.83 (= TYC6848-04244-1 Vt:11.05 ) (b) E_GSC 0684803606 m:10.94 (c) E_GSC 0684803438 m:11.71 and (d) E_GSC 0684803245 m:11.87 2) In May 24 , all this stars was detected - comp (d) was the limit. 3) In May 25 there was a unusual thing: comp (a) and (c) was observed, but no (b). That's my report: SGRV4641 20020525.1597 11.7 AAX G M SGRV4641 20020525.1632 11.7 AAX G M SGRV4641 20020525.1667 11.8: AAX G M SGRV4641 20020525.1701 11.6 AAX G M SGRV4641 20020525.1736 11.5 AAX G M SGRV4641 20020525.1771 11.5 AAX G M SGRV4641 20020525.1806 11.4 AAX G M SGRV4641 20020525.1840 11.4 AAX G M SGRV4641 20020525.1875 11.4 AAX G M SGRV4641 20020525.1910 11.4 AAX G M SGRV4641 20020525.1944 11.5 AAX G M SGRV4641 20020525.1979 11.3: AAX G M SGRV4641 20020525.2014 11.3 AAX G M Notes: G - GSC Catalogue from Guide 7.0 M - moonlight interference 4) Now, May 26 03:00 UT, my MALE is ~11.0 and V4641 Sgr wasn't detected.
