SN2002cf 20020312.3 <190:C KAI
SN2002cf 20020413.3 170:C KAI
SN2002cf 20020414.3 169:C KAI
# The host galaxy of SN 2002cf is NGC 4786, a elliptical galaxy with
# some pecuriality (E+ pec). The SN is located at R.A. =
# 12h54m31s.30, Decl. = -06o51'24".8 (2000.0), which is about 16" west
# and 9" north of the nucleus of NGC 4786. There is a foreground star
# (mag about 14-5) about 40" SSW of the nucleus of the host.
# Such elliptical galaxies only produce SN Ia. The expected maximum
# for typical SN Ia is mag about 15.7. Sometimes intrinsically
# subluminous SN Ia is observed in the ellipticals.
SN2002cg 20010816.3 <195:C KAI
SN2002cg 20020328.5 <180:C KAI
SN2002cg 20020413.5 178:C KAI
SN2002cg 20020414.4 174:C KAI
# The host galaxy of SN 2002cg = UGC 10415 is somethat distant one.
# The expected maximum for typical SN Ia is mag about 17.2. It is
# quite close to the nucleus (reported as 1".2 east and 2".9 south),
# so the magnitude estimates should be done carefully.
