[vsnet-obs 38942] (fwd) V1247 Ori

From: Chris Lloyd <cl@ast.star.rl.ac.uk>
Subject: Re: [vsnet-recent-dsct 1] V1247 Ori recent (cont'd)

Dear Taichi,

I believe that the observations reported here of V1247 Ori actually refer
to a completely different star, probably CCDM J05376-0125AB = HD 37321.
V1247 Ori should be about mag 9.8 not 7.0, and J05376-0125AB lies close
by, and is the right magnitude. I've included all the data from Simbad and
other sources.

Perhaps you'd like to check it out and let the observer know.

Regards,

Chris Lloyd
