Location: Fjellhamar & Oslo, Norway.
Instruments: 25.4-cm reflector (M254), 7.0-cm refractor (L70).
Magnitude references: NAS.VSS (V mag. from various sources).
Observations: Visual, Pogson step estimates.
Conditions: Partly cloudy to clear.

UBV and Tycho-2 catalogues): G = 7.47, H = 7.75, J = 8.17.

Observation of SN 2002ap from Feb. 13.844 UT: E-4;H+2 (class 2).
[Hypernova was only barely visible due to bright sky and low
elevation.] Comparison stars (NAS.VSS sequence with V magnitudes):
E = 12.4 (GSC 1205-0616), H = 13.04 (GSC 1205-0789). Chart at:
