MONV838 20020205.91 6.7 C.Lloyd AAVSO(b) 7x50b
The comparison star used was 66 on the AAVSO(b) chart which is really the
only suitable star. However, this star has recently been shown to be a
small amplitude variable with a range of ~0.2 mag, although it spends most
of the time at V ~ 6.6 (Percy et al 2001, PASP 113, 983). It has a
composite spectral type of M1Ib + A (B-V ~ 1.6) and is also know as NSV
17285 and HD 52690.

Chris Lloyd
