I observed s/n 2001el in ngc 1448 from my observatory at Cambroon Queensland Australia at 14:25 ut 21/10 01 with a 20cm (8 inch) SCT and estimate it to be 13.2 mag conditions where good with the galaxy quite bright. Ron Knight
