According to the ephemeris, delta Scorpii is fading and the outburst is
already past maximum, since this last cycle the star only got to 1.74.
Tonight is at its faintest state since the end of the year 2000.
Observations:
CENeta 20010827.927 2.38 OSE
CENmu 20010827.931 3.48 OSE
SCOdelta 20010827.929 1.86 OSE
And mu Centauri stayed at minimum after June's outburst, which is a
behaviour I haven't seen recently in this star, that used to brighten by
0.15 mag. every roughly 55 days...
Regards,
Sebastian.
