Visual observations of U Geminorum and WZ Sagittae

Observer: Bjorn H. Granslo (GRL).
Location: Haagaar Observatory, Eina, Norway.
Instruments: 254-mm f/6 reflector
Magnitude references: V-magnitudes from Tycho-2 catalogue
  and CCD photometry by A. Henden, USNO.
Observations: Visual, Pogson step estimates.
Conditions: Favourable (dark sky and mostly clear).

Notes:
(1) U Gem is in outburst. This observation was affected by low
altitude and twilight, but it was confirmed by CCD exposures.

(2) The general fading of WZ Sge appears to have stopped. This
object was also observed with CCD.
