Extra notes:
(1) Delta Scorpii was observed in bright twilight (Sun 6 deg.
under horizon) at an apparent altitude (corrected for refraction)
of only 2.6 deg. The sky was, however, very transparent. Mars was
seen at an apparent altitude of 2.1 deg. and was dimmed by only
1.9 mag. as compared to stars near zenith. This indicates an
extinction of 0.12 mag. per airmass. Observed from Blindern, Oslo.
Yours sincerely,
Bjorn H. Granslo
