[vsnet-obs 33362] WR104 observations by MISAO Project

Dear colleagues,

I am Seiichi Yoshida, working on the MISAO Project.

Here I report the magnitude data of WR 104. The magnitude are measured
automatically by the PIXY system 1 (not PIXY System 2) from CCD images
offered to the MISAO Project. Image observers' names are noted after
"Mis".

WR104 19990408.75056 117C Mis image="KenIchi Kadota"
WR104 19990408.75110 117C Mis image="KenIchi Kadota"
WR104 19990430.74698 116C Mis image="KenIchi Kadota"
WR104 19990430.74742 116C Mis image="KenIchi Kadota"
WR104 20000224.82992 121C Mis image="KenIchi Kadota"
WR104 20000224.83047 122C Mis image="KenIchi Kadota"

Maybe the magnitude is inaccurate because they are measured using the
old PIXY System 1 referring to the USNO-A1.0 catalogue. On the other
hand, the new PIXY System 2 measures the magnitude referring to the
Tycho Catalogue. Because of the possible inaccuracy, we did not pick
up a star as one of the MisVs when the magnitude range is not larger
than 0.7 mag. So this star was not picked up. We now pick up variable
stars whose range is larger than 0.4 mag using the new PIXY System
2. However, past images in the Southern Hemisphere have not yet been
re-examined.

Anyway, congratulations Haseda-san for this great discovery!

And thanks to John Greaves and KenIchi Kadota for pointing out the
existence of the MISAO images.
