Dear friends:
Delta Scorpii is now brighter than ever before. It is probably a third
maximum of the great eruption that started in June 2000.
Which raises the question of when it is going to stop its activity. It seems
like every maximum is a little brighter than the previous one and the star
is slowly increasing its mean magnitude.
Poor coverage at this time of the year doesn't allow a full follow-up, but
now the star is already high enough in the pre-dawn sky to get very good
estimates again.

Let's keep watching!!
Best regards,
Sebastian.
