H. Granslo (Tryvann, Oslo, Norway). Instrument: 7x50 binoculars. Observations are Pogson step estimates. Sequences: Hipparcos catalogue (V mag.). Conditions: Mostly clear. Note: These observations were made during the total lunar eclipse. This was a bright eclipse, the Moon's magnitude at mid-totality (estimated using reversed binoculars) was -2.5, whereas it was nearly one magnitude brighter at the start and end of totality.
