[vsnet-obs 28180] Computerization of datas

The data of the french association of variable star observers - AFOEV -
(about 2 millions observations) are stored at the "Centre de Donnees
Astronomiques - Strasbourg Observatory" and are available, free of charges,
at the adress ftp cdsarc.u-strasbg.fr (130.79.128.5). The database is
organized into directories, one for each constellation, each star allotted
its own datafile. Observations are sorted according chronoligal order.
The SN are more and more numerous and are classified into the directories of
the constellations in wich they appeared ; it is then necessary to know the
name of the constellation. Question : would it be better to create a separate
directory for SN's ?
