[vsnet-obs 28032] CI Aql & V1494 Aql (2000 May 24 - Jun 3 UT)

1846-01D  CI AQUILAE (Nova Aql 2000, recurrent nova)

Further observations:

CI Aql only seen with difficulty on May 31.976 UT, hence the class 3
observation. I also attempted to observe it on Jun 2.976 UT and
Jun 3.995 UT, but it was invisible to a limiting magnitude of 10.6.

Comparison stars (NAS.VSS sequence with VT magnitudes from the
Tycho-2 catalogue): 8=10.1; 9=10.6.

1918+04  V1494 AQUILAE (Nova Aql 1999 No. 2)

Tycho-2 BT/VT photometry): 9=9.80; 10=10.06; 11=10.42.

Observer:
GRL = B. H. Granslo (Fjellhamar, Norway). Instrument: 20.3-cm SCT
  (C203). Conditions: mostly clear, but strong all-night twilight.
