Visual observations of 16 May 2000
observer: Berto Monard MLF, Pretoria, South Africa
instruments: 32cm /f4.8 Newtonian
conditions: clear with 3/4 moon and haze

HYAEX 000516.700 130 MLF
NSV05428 000516.70 131 MLF
CENBV 000516.697 119 MLF
* this outburst is lasting considerably longer than the previous ones on record. Possibly RX J0640-24 is a UGSU type dwarf novae undergoing a superoutburst.
If I had a guided telescope with CCD, I would know what to do...
