[vsnet-obs 27706] BZ UMa (2000 May 13-14)



Norwegian Astronomical Society - Variable Star Section

BZ URSAE MAJORIS  [R.A. = 08h53m44s.2, Decl. = +57o48'41" (2000.0)]

This dwarf nova is currently in a rare outburst, first observed by
G. Hanson on May 13.166 at mv=11.0 [vsnet-outburst 2, vsnet-outburst
4]. The following observation has been secured:

The previous outburst was observed in March, 1999.

Comparison stars (V magnitudes by Henden, USNO): 6=11.49, 7=12.03.

Observer:
GRL = B. H. Granslo (Fjellhamar, Norway). Instrument: 20.3-cm SCT,
  (C203). Conditions: nearly clear, Moon, twilight.
