An observation from last night:
Object YYMMDD(UT) Mag Obs Instrum. Observation
AQLCI 000509.968 9.7 GRL C203;100x 6-3;7=V;8+3 (class 1)
This observation indicates a further fade of this object. It
remains to be seen whether this fading is due to geometry (eclipse)
or physical activity in this system.
Comparison stars (NAS.VSS sequence with VT magnitudes from the
Tycho-2 catalogue): 6=9.3; 7=9.8; 8=10.1.
1918+04 V1494 AQUILAE (Nova Aql 1999 No. 2)
An observation from last night:

AQLV1494 000509.967 10.0 GRL C203;100x 9-1;10+1 (class 2)
Comparison stars (NAS.VSS sequence with V magnitudes from the
Tycho-1 catalogue): 9=9.93; 10=10.11.
Observer:
GRL = B. H. Granslo (Fjellhamar, Norway). Instrument: 20.3-cm SCT
(C203). Conditions: nearly clear, but hazy.
