Although a bit slow off the mark I confirm the period of 2.99705 days
suggested by Taichi [vsnet-obs 27258] as the most likely period for HadV48
on the basis of the observations by Haseda [vsnet-alert 4611] [vsnet-obs
27244] and Takamizawa [vsnet-obs 27257]. The analysis also shows two other
possible periods, one near 6 days which is physically impossible, and a
second at 1.497 days, ie. half the suggested period. Although rather
unlikely this period is not excluded by the present data and an ephemeris
for it is given below, with minima in the 3 day period appearing at even
cycle numbers.
