[vsnet-obs 27072] XTE J1118+48.0 - Mar 30 to Apr 1 UT

1112+48 XTE J1118+480 [R.A.=11h18m10s.8, Decl.=+48o02'13" (2000)]
The following visual observations have be reported of this transient
x-ray object:
Object YYMMDD(UT) Mag Obs Instrum. Observation
XTEJ1118+480 000330.867 12.5 TOL M610 C+5 [class 2]
XTEJ1118+480 000330.992 12.5: GRL C203;100x A-15;C+5 [class 3]
XTEJ1118+480 000401.006 12.7 GRL C203;100x B-2;C+1 [class 2]
Comparison stars (magnitudes from GSC, with correction +0.1 mag.):
A = 11.0 (TYC 3451-1612), B = 12.3 (GSC 3451-0974), C = 13.0
(GSC 3451-0938).
Observers:
GRL = B. H. Granslo (Fjellhamar, Norway). Instrument: 20.3-cm SCT.
The Mar 30.992 observation were class 3 (uncertain) due to
severe cloud interference. I was only able to observe the object
for a moment through a small hole in the cloud cover. The
Apr 1.006 observation was made in a partly cloudy and hazy sky
(overcast later).
TOL = O. Trondal (Oslo, Norway). Instrument: 61-cm f/4 reflector.
The Mar 30.867 observations has already been reported
[vsnet-alert 4507].
