Pr. A. Acker, Strasbourg Observatory, is interested in all observations concerning v1966 Cyg = BD+30 3639 = HIP 96295. This central star of a very young planetary nebula shows strong variations in the mass loss process. The spectroscopic study performed by Pr. Acker and her collaborators, Pr. A. Moffat (Montreal) and Dr Y. Grosdidier, shows wind fluctuations, perhaps related with global luminosity variations (see the light curve done by HIPPARCOS, or see Acker, Fresneau, Pottasch, Jasniewicz, 1998, Astronomy&Astrophysics 337, 253). Please send the observations to Pr. Acker directly acker@newb6.u-strsbg.fr or through AFOEV afoev@astro.u-strasbg.fr or afoevb@aol.com Thank You in advance. E. Schweitzer - AFOEV
