Greetings, all...
I'm new to the list, so please forgive me if I don't have protocol/format
down pat. Now that I've found a new reasonably dark site less than an hour
from downtown Washington DC I hope to make more observations of objects like
this.
Observer: Geoff Chester
Location: Middleburg, Virginia (38.98N, 77.70W)
Instrument: 37-cm Newtonian, 13mm Nagler eyepiece, at 127X
Naked-eye limiting magnitude at SN's location in sky: 5.5
Observation time: 991105.22
Estimated visual magnitude: 13.5, +/- 0.1
Sequence: Arne Henden's sequence, cf. vsnet-chat 2384
Cheers,
Geoff
