Here are finally my observations of the Nova Velorum 1999 (V382),
from the past week(s) (averages of 10-15 comparisons):
Instrument: B 7x50
From Mauna-Kea (alt. 4090m):
1999 June 6.257 UT Mv=6.00 +-0.07
1999 June 7.294 UT Mv=6.02 +-0.07
1999 June 8.260 UT Mv=6.21 +-0.04
1999 June 9.271 UT Mv=6.26 +-0.07
1999 June 10.261 UT Mv=6.31 +-0.07
1999 June 11.267 UT Mv=6.41 +-0.06 (a few cirrus clouds)
From OAHU:
1999 June 12.252 UT Mv=6.44 +-0.08 (Mokuleia, North Shore)
1999 June 15.260 UT Mv=6.68 +-0.08 (Honolulu)
1999 June 17.254 UT Mv=6.90 +-0.12 (Mokuleia, a few clouds nearby)
(Sequence Tycho V mag., excluding red stars)
