"Hi again,
Here's tonight's observation of the nova:

****Nova Velorum 1999*****1999 May 25.251B-1; E+2; F+7   Mv=3.6   Instrument: B9x63
Class:1(Sequence: NAS.VSS chart)
The nova appeared significantly fainter than yesterday, but was
still a naked eye object from the University of Hawaii campus at
Manoa, Honolulu.
Some moonlight and light pollution.

"Nova Velorum from Mauna-Kea tonight:
1999 May 25.278 mv=3.68+-0.06 Naked Eye from Mauna-Kea (elev.4090m)
(15 comparisons), it is getting harder to see it with naked eye, but
limiting magnitude was about 4.5 close to it: Good sky, but Moon is
bright.
