Hi again -
The broadband V magnitude given on my earlier email was incorrect: it
should have read 7.95.
One other piece of information: On my previous photograph (85mm lens +
Tech Pan film + orange filter) of the region, taken Apr. 21.24, no star
brighter than V = 11.5 was visible at the position of the new nova.
