[vsnet-obs 20153] Re: New Takamizawa variable (TmzV329)

From a period analysis of the admittedly limited data on TmzV329 I find a
very acceptable sinusoidal variation with period of 141+/-1 days, with
maximum light occurring at JD 2450842, giving an rms error <0.1 mag. Such
a period would be entirely consistent with an SR variable.

Given the lack of IRAS observations the star may be rather hotter than
this, or less dusty, which may favour a second, slightly less significant
period at 14.55+/-0.02 days. The light curve is marginally asymmetric and
may indicate a Cepheid or similar variable. Observations on this time
scale would resolve this confusion.
