Dear colleagues!
I would like to send you observations of a new variable star (BeV9), which I have discovered in a
systematic CCD-based search for new variables. Data analysis was made by Chris Lloyd, UK.
Instruments:
CCD-camera:Starlight Xpress SX (unfiltered)
Telescope: Celestron-8 (20 cm Schmidt-Cassegrain)
New variable star:
new BeV9 071152.6 N040405.2 11.4 11.9 (CCD) EA(?)
comments:
BeV9: GSC 171 2059
Comparison star was for all measurements GSC 171 3678 (11.5 mag), which was checked to be
constant.
BeV9 looks like an eclipsing binary rather than a delta Scuti or anything similar,
with a probably short period.
