Dear Colleagues,

Selected CCD results:

0000+00 V381 LAC 2451271.6013 1999-04-03 0.1013 14.9

0749+22 U GEM 2451273.3527 1999-04-04 0.8527 11.2
1409+19 T BOO 2451273.5395 1999-04-05 0.0395 <16.0
1556+33 VW CRB 2451273.5430 1999-04-05 0.0430 <17.2
1621+39 V844 HER 2451273.5444 1999-04-05 0.0444 <16.5

I have now reduced the time series I got on U Gem the night April 2-3.
An image showing U Gem and the resulting lightcurves can be found on the following page:

http://vsnet.image.dk/~teist/U%20Gem.htm

The U Gem lightcurve is shown in 2 versions. The first curve shows the full dataset.
In the second lightcurve I have omitted the last about 2 hours of the time series. The second lightcurve clearly shows the eclipse.
Comparison of the 2 versions of the lightcurve clearly shows the effect of observing too near the horizon in hazy weather. The last 2 hours of the time series are not useable due to the effect of the haze. In addition the moon had a strong effect during the last 2 hours.

I will soon reduce the U Gem time series I got the night April 4-5.

Regards

Lasse Teist Jensen (JLT)
